Frequently asked
Is IMP Commander free?
During Early Access every feature is unlocked, but you need a licence key. When Early Access ends, some features may only be available with a paid licence. Pricing will be announced in advance.
On how many computers can I use one licence?
One licence is for one person and works on up to 2 computers. You can move it to another computer by deactivating it on the old one.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The app checks the licence online and then keeps working for 14 days without a connection.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit.
Does the AI read my files?
No. The assistant works only with names, sizes, dates and types. When it needs to analyse content, it writes a small script that you approve and that runs locally; only the result is shared.
How do updates work?
The app checks for signed updates in the background and installs them when you restart it.
