Website analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Zaraz to load analytics and marketing tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) only after you consent. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
The apps
IMP apps do not send the contents of your files anywhere.
Licence check
To verify your licence, the app sends three things to our licence server: the licence key, an anonymous identifier of the computer and the app version.
- The computer identifier is a salted SHA-256 hash of the Windows machine ID. The machine ID itself never leaves your computer.
- The server sees your IP address, as every server does. It is not stored in the licence database and is kept only briefly to limit repeated attempts.
Updates
The update check is a plain download request to dl.withimp.app. It carries no identifier of you or your computer.
